Peter and the Wolf
and Excerpts from Carnival of the Animals
Created in 1936 for his own son, Sergei Prokofiev’s PETER AND THE WOLF has given us a most charming tale of a young boy’s adventure in the meadow behind his grandfather’s cottage that both tells a story and cleverly teaches children about recognizing musical themes. PBT brings depth to the characters through the magic of ballet. Also featured in this performance are excerpts from CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS.
Suitable for children of all ages and adults with light hearts.
Join us after the performance to meet the dancers and enjoy some animal cookies & lemonade!
