Adult Ballet Class Descriptions
***Saturdays at 9 am
This class is perfect for the absolute beginner or anyone who is returning to dance after a long break. Learn the basic positions and terminology. All ballet classes include 60 minutes of barre work and 30 minutes of center work. Taught by Arnold Chao.
***Tuesdays at 6:30 and Sundays at 9 am
For graduates of Ballet 101 or for intermediate dancers returning to dance after a break this goes just beyond the basics. Learn more intricate barre combinations and turns in center. Taught by Gregory Amato, Arnold Chao to return at a later date.
Adult Morning and Evening Ballet
***Tu. Th. mornings at 10 am and Monday evenings at 6:30 pm
This class is for those who have had some dance experience and are comfortable with barre combinations and center work. Class work includes learning variations and working on leaps and jumps. Tuesday and Thursday mornings taught by Marco Ogo, Monday evenings taught by Gregory Amato, Arnold Chao to return at a later date.
New! Thursday Night Adult Contemporary Ballet with Erin Parsley
***Thursdays at 6:30pm
Includes a ballet barre with contemporary work in the center. Suitable for all levels!
Adult Experienced Beginners Ballet
***Wednesdays at 7 pm, Sat at 10:30, Sun at 10:30
This class is for those who have had at least a couple years of dance training and are up to the challenge of intricate barre combinations and center work. Including learning variations and working on leaps and jumps. Taught by Gregory Amato, Arnold Chao will return at a later date. This class is followed by a 60 minute pointe class for those who are interested in training to go on pointe or who are already on pointe.
ALL CLASSES MUST MEET MINIMUM ENROLLMENT OF 4 STUDENTS TO TAKE PLACE.
All classes can be taken on a drop-in basis.
