To our wonderful PBT Community,
In support of worldwide efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health of our community, Peninsula Ballet Theatre will remain closed until further notice.
Although it deeply saddens us to postpone our in-person classes, rehearsals, and upcoming productions our utmost concern is to protect and support the Company dancers, crew, staff, students, audience, and PBT community.
We have put together a schedule of virtual ballet and conditioning classes taught by PBT Artistic Staff, Company dancers, and Guest teachers. These free daily classes are designed to help you stay connected with your body and love for dance from your own living room. We hope this can be a helpful resource for you at this time.
Crises such as these have drastic effects on the arts community and nonprofit organizations such as PBT. While we have reduced our expenses to the extent possible, we still have rent, utilities, insurance, and general facilities costs that need to be paid. In addition, we are so grateful to our PBT staff who are currently donating their time and energy to teach the virtual classes. If your situation allows, we ask you to consider donating on PBT’s Support Us Page. We need your help to come back strong and ready to dance when the time allows. We truly appreciate your investment in helping us keep the arts alive during this challenging time.
Thank you for your support as we eagerly await the day when we can return to sharing this beloved art form with you and our community.
Warm regards,
Peninsula Ballet Theatre
