Thank you for your ticket purchase to Peninsula Ballet Theatre’s performance(s) which were scheduled for March 27, 28, and 29 at San Francisco’s Presidio Theatre. 

 

We were sorry that due to the evolving situation surrounding COVID-19, Peninsula Ballet Theatre had to cancel all performances scheduled for these dates. The performances cannot be rescheduled until PBT receives guidelines from the city and county of San Francisco. Peninsula Ballet Theatre’s utmost concern is to protect and support the Company dancers, crew, staff and audience, and to not contribute in any way to the ongoing wave of Bay Area coronavirus cases. Peninsula Ballet Theatre hopes to reschedule these performances for the 2020/2021 season. Peninsula Ballet Theatre is also working with The Fox Theatre in Redwood City for potential performance dates in December 2020. At this time, you may opt to donate the cost of your ticket to Peninsula Ballet Theatre by contacting City Box Office. Alternatively, you will receive an automatic refund from City Box Office on June 1st. 

 

Crises such as these have drastic effects on the arts community and nonprofit organizations such as PBT. While we have reduced our expenses to the extent possible, we still have rent, utilities, insurance, and general facilities costs that need to be paid. If your situation allows, we would greatly appreciate your ticket donation to help us cover these costs. 

 

We are so thankful for the continued support of so many of our donors and our wonderful community. While Peninsula Ballet Theatre remains closed, we are grateful to our PBT Staff who are teaching Free Virtual Classes for all ages. We feel fortunate to be able to serve the community and our students in this way during this time of uncertainty.
