Timmorie Freeman

 

Timmorie Freeman was born in San Diego, California. She received her most impactful training at the Ruth Page School of Dance, followed by a Traineeship with Ballet West. After participating in classes with Ramona de Saa Bello, Timmorie was invited to be one of the first Americans training full-time at La Escuela Nacional de Ballet “Fernando Alonso” in Havana, Cuba. After a year in Cuba, she then joined City Ballet of San Diego for two seasons performing works including Balanchine’s WalpurgisnachtCarmina Burana, and an original work, Battu. Timmorie recently completed her Traineeship with Alonzo King LINES Ballet. She has worked with several choreographers including Sidra Bell, Mike Tyus, Alex Ketley, David Harvey, Chuck Wilt, Gregory Dawson, and Carmen Rozenstraten. She has also spent summers and exchanges at Vienna State Opera Ballet Academy, Berlin State Ballet School, Ellison Ballet, Houston Ballet, Opificio en Movimiento, and Mandala Dance Company. This is Timmorie's first season with Peninsula Ballet Theatre.
